Description
The Minolta Riva Mini (also known as the Minolta Freedom Escort) is a 35mm film compact camera released by Minolta in 1991. But it would be of little interest if it weren’t for the fact that it is pretty safe to say that it is the same camera as the Leica Mini with some minor changes in design. With a glass lens allegedly manufactured by Minolta and electronics by Matsushita to specifications demanded by Leitz/Leica. This camera was also marketed as the Panasonic C-625AF Super Mini. The lens is very sharp for such an unassuming little camera.
It has autofocus and several flash modes
– Lens: 34mm, f/3.5 (four elements in three groups), features a built-in UV filter.
– Exposure Control: Automatic.
– Shutter Speed: 1/350 – 1/5 seconds.
– Focusing Type: Infrared Autofocus with focus lock.
– Minimum Focusing Distance: 60cm.
– Automatic DX coding film, ISO from 50-3200.
– Battery: CR123
– Dimension: 118 x 63 x 35.5 mm
– Weight: 165g without battery.
