How We Rate Cameras

We use a very classic rating system that is used worldwide for condition ratings for second hand items. This rating is mainly used to rate the external appearance of a camera.
If there are technical issues, then they are listed in the description.

-[New/Unused] Unused, no signs of use
-[Mint] Almost unused, no signs of use.
-[ Mint-] ] Almost unused, tiny signs of use.
-[Excellent+] Used, just a few signs of use, small scratches tiny patina.
-[Excellent] Used, a little more signs of use, small scratches, little patina
-[Excellent-] Used, more sings of use, small scratches, small patina, maybe tiny dents, maybe leaking LCD,
-[Good+] Used, looks used, visible signs of use like scratches, marks, patina, maybe cracks, maybe small dents, maybe leaking LCD.
-[Good] Used, looks used, very visible signs of use like bigger scratches, marks, patina, maybe cracks, maybe dents, maybe leaking LCD.
-[Good-] Very used, looks very used, clearly visible signs of use like bigger scratches, marks, patina, maybe cracks, maybe dents, maybe leaking LCD.
-[worn] Very used, looks very used and bad, clearly visible signs of use like bigger scratches, marks, patina, maybe cracks, maybe leaking LCD.

We try to describe the condition of the items accurately. Special signs of use like cracks, leaking LCD’s, dents or very big scratches are stated in the description.
We also take great care to take photos that show the signs of use. The pictures are also part of the description, so take a good look at them.
It is not always easy to take good pictures of the signs of use, it may happen that the camera looks a little less good in real life than in the pictures.
That’s why we always try to rate the condition of the items a little lower than it really is.
Condition is also a matter of opinion and not an exact science.
